I remember playing with one… then they got hungry.
~Swedish scientist after the first attack
Leksaks were first spotted in Sweden. At first, they seemed very friendly, outgoing, and playful. They reacted positively to people by fanning their tails, on which colors and patterns changed. It is also where their name comes from – Leksak in Swedish means a toy. With time, the situation changed a lot, the lack of food in the coastal zone resulted in ever-hungry Leksaks attacking everything within their sight. Leksaks live mainly in the vicinity of water reservoirs, but due to food shortages, they venture far into the land. On their home planet, Leiosa, the creatures feed mainly on vegetation and large clam-like creatures. On Earth, Leksaks actively hunt any living being they can spot. They especially like to hunt waterfowl and people. When fighting a Leksak, you have to be very careful about its sharp claws and the beak, which can clamp with terrible force. Leksaks are herd creatures that communicate perfectly with each other by changing the coloration of their tail membranes. Membranes can change colors very quickly, allowing creatures to communicate very fluently and coordinate attacks together. You need to be especially careful about attacks from water, because they can swim and see underwater perfectly, and can attack like a crocodile. Additionally, you should be wary of Leksaks’ tadpoles, as they swim exceptionally efficiently and also often attack everything within their sight.

Weaknesses
Leksak’s weakness map represents the probability of weak points spawning on various alien body parts. The green color highlights the areas where these points generate less often, whereas, in the places marked red, they appear most frequently. Please note that in no way does it affect the damage dealt unless you attack the weak point directly.
Special action (Blink)
- There is nothing special about it. It’s just a blink 🙂
Resistances
- Bleed – 15% vulnerability
- Blind – 170% vulnerability
- Dizzy – 5% vulnerability
- Fear – 45% vulnerability
- Hatred – 30% vulnerability
- Ignite – 65% vulnerability
- Poison – 20% resistance
- Stun – 30% resistance
Resistances affect a weapon’s base debuff multiplier (100%). With no resistance, the chance to apply a debuff is what you see on a weapon’s card. So, for example, if your weapon has a 10% Poison enhancement, each hit with that weapon has 10% (base chance) * (100% – 0%) (base debuff multiplier) = 10% chance to apply Poison debuff. However, with Leksaks’ 20% resistance against the debuff, that number is lowered to 10% * (100% – 20%) = 8% chance. Alternatively, a weapon with a 10% Hatred enhancement would be more effective due to Leksaks being vulnerable to the Hatred debuff. 10% * (100% + 30%) = 13% chance to make the target hate you.
Drops
When killed, Leksaks have a chance to drop:
Leksak Iris Powder
Leksak’s iris dust is light as air, and when sprayed in the air, it rises like a golden mist.
