Why am I getting stronger aliens, even on my first fight?
There is a Secret Stat called “Fighting Level”, the aliens you encounter and the amount of them depends on it. Scavenging the same building for too long will also result alerting stronger aliens and sometimes even a Demon.
Why do some monsters attack faster than my survivors?
The sequence in a fight is defined by each fighter’s initiative. It’s a sum of survivor’s features (or creature’s species) AND a dice roll.
Why my team members with less initiative sometimes faster than the ones with higher Agility/Reflex?

Can I encounter a Demon in the beginning?
Yes, if you aren’t cautious enough. The chance is incredibly small if you do about 3-4 scavenges but if you keep prying the same building, you’ll inevitably encounter Demons.
Is beating a Demon possible?
Originally we designed Demons to be unbeatable. Turns out that there are 85 players so far who have killed a Demon – some of them many times! We are so impressed!
Is it worth it to beat a Demon?
Well, its up to you! Defeating a Demon has a chance to drop a Demon Thread, which is a late game crafting material. It also gives you 50K Prestige and 500~ XP.
Does story progression affect the types of aliens I can encounter?
No. Story only affects aliens on the Map.
Can I pass my survivor’s turn?
Currently no, only by failing to escape which is risky.
