Aloe

Why is it so cute?

~Aloe lover
Aloe
Planet of origin: Yynglea
Forms of damage
Bite: 18
Bite: 6
Attacks per turn: 1 – 3
Initiative: 9 (Very Slow)
Height: ? cm
Average weight: 30 kg
Average health: 120
First appearance: Chapter 24

The creature comes from the planet Yynglea, where it is commonly found, especially in the equatorial zone. On Earth, there are several subspecies of Aloe, but only the one commonly called Aloe is dangerous to humans. Aloe is an interesting predator that mainly preys on small insects, birds, and mammals. Its bites, however, are quite unpleasant due to its small teeth that resemble needles. Aloe often attacks humans, but it seems unable to determine how big a person is. The creature can be easily stunned with a strong blow to the head, but it is quite resistant to cutting wounds, especially within the pseudostem, which hardly bleeds at all. Every encountered Aloe should be killed, as the species multiplies very quickly and, due to its method of reproduction, causes enormous suffering to animals by attacking everything nearby.

Weaknesses

Aloe’s weakness heatmap

Aloe’s weakness map represents the probability of weak points spawning on various alien body parts. Green color highlights the areas where these points generate less often, whereas, in the places marked red, they appear most frequently. Please note that in no way does it affect the damage dealt unless you attack the weak point directly.

Resistances

  •  Bleed – 50% resistance
  •  Blind – 95% resistance
  •  Dizzy – 0% vulnerability
  •  Fear – 80% vulnerability
  •  Hatred – 0% vulnerability
  •  Ignite – 0% vulnerability
  •  Poison – 50% resistance
  •  Stun – 50% vulnerability

Resistances affect a weapon’s base debuff multiplier (100%). With no resistance, the chance to apply a debuff is what you see on a weapon’s card. So, for example, if your weapon has a 10% Poison enhancement, each hit with that weapon has 10% (base chance) * (100% – 0%) (base debuff multiplier) = 10% chance to apply Poison debuff. However, with Aloes’ 50% resistance against the debuff, that number is lowered to 10% * (100% – 50%) = 5% chance. Alternatively, a weapon with a 10% Fear enhancement would be more effective due to Aloe being vulnerable to the Fear debuff. 10% * (100% + 80%) = 18% chance to make the target hate you.
