So, who noticed that all the dominant races are named after their planet?

The temperature on Fungia is very high at all times, the same goes for the pressure and gravity. It does not contain any native intelligent races, those died suddenly a few hours after the World Stream.
The current dominant race is the Cyferus which colonized the planet and regularly sends supplies there. That of course overthrew the dominance of the planet’s native race, the Fungias.
